CLK Builders, founded by Charles Knipper, has been a key player in the construction industry since its inception in 1997. Originating from Long Island, New York, Charles began his construction career in 1986. Noticing the increasing demand for residences in Myrtle Beach, he established CLK Builders there. The company is dedicated to delivering only high-quality construction services.

CJ Knipper, a University of South Carolina graduate, initially pursued a career in commercial and residential real estate in Washington DC. Three years later, he and his wife returned to Myrtle Beach to join the family business, CLK Builders. With over 25 years of operation in the Grand Strand, we take pride in continuing this family-owned legacy into the next generation.

Zachary Cafiero, a New Hampshire native, moved to Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, with his two dogs in search of warmer weather. After graduating from Coastal Carolina, he joined CLK Builders, where he thoroughly learned the business. Eventually, Zach teamed up with his close friend CJ Knipper, continuing the CLK tradition of meticulous craftsmanship and exceptional customer service.

Megan has an extensive background in corporate finance and accounting, most notably working for one of the largest government contractors in the US for several years. In 2023, she took a leap out of the corporate world and into the family business. Providing invaluable financial and team-leading experience, Megan was the perfect addition to the team alongside her husband CJ. Additionally, she holds a real estate license in both South and North Carolina.
